The problem that Bully's has, as a previous reviewer noted, there is no oversight with the staff. What the owner doesn't seem to realize is the poorly trained and poorly managed staff is taking money from their pocket. On numerous occasions we tried to order more bar drinks for our group, to no avail. It would have been another $40 to $50 plus tip that the establishment lost one particular night and I am a very good tipper so the server lost out as well. The tables and bar are not bused in a timely manner. The food is good and plentiful, however it is the only restaurant/bar open in the evening in town so we continue to patronize it which is why I think the owner feels they don't need cater to people who appreciate manners and competency from their wait staff. This is my hometown so I never want to give up on a local business, but I would advise the owner that they must serve everyone equally and hire a better manager - it will pay off in better receipts.
We waited an hour for any visits from our waiter, with no refills or anything. Then at about the hour and a half mark, we finally received our food after having to ask the manager about how are food was coming along, with a very rude response and ignoring our requests for a refill on water. The buns were burnt like croutons and the meat tasted cold. After waiting for our check for about 30 minutes after finishing, we had to go up to the bar to pay and learned they lost our ticket and didn't really care about it. So we had to recall everything we got while they very rudely dealt with us even though it was them that lost the ticket. Then after appropriately not leaving a tip, they were very rude and basically gave off a "get out of here" vibe. Definitely never going to this place ever again.
